Servers are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests, ensuring a welcoming, attentive, and professional dining experience consistent with club service standards. This role focuses on personalized service, accuracy, and responsiveness while supporting the Club’s service culture and hospitality expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to members and guests.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, daily specials, beverage offerings, and allergens.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
  • Support service recovery efforts by communicating issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas.
  • Follow cash handling, billing, and payment procedures accurately.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Currently enrolled in high school or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Not required, will train. Previous experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or a customer service–focused environment is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide attentive, member-focused service in a hospitality environment.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, policies, and service standards.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic technology.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.

Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:

This role operates in a service-driven club environment, including dining rooms, banquet facilities, outdoor venues, and bar areas. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, with regular interaction with members, guests, and staff.
